By taking Mid-Century modern design and integrating it with the industrial architecture of the adjacent St. Elmo Marketplace we were able to capture the vibrant spirit of South Congress in Austin, TX. Retro patterns, MCM textures, and eclectic artwork create a sensory experience for residents. Unlike the typical lobby, the leasing space is comprised of several private conference rooms, a coffee lounge, and areas for residents to plug in. This helps drive a sense of community and gives the leasing office an additional function. Being outdoors is important to most Austinites. The project includes two pools, two outdoor lounges, and a courtyard with a calming water feature. With access from the outdoor amenities to the Marketplace, residents can support local vendors and restaurants which helps drive the aspect of community.
